The competition “Russian Ballet”

A final round of the competition “Russian Ballet” took place in Moscow at the end of april. 29 dancers from 13 ballet academies fought for prizes and the right to complete an internship in one of the best theatres in Russia. The contest is traditionally supported by Grishko® company, and this year is no exception. The company manufactured dozens of stage costumes adding the final flourish to contestants images. The company utilized all its skills and experience towards one goal - to help young dancers embody their emotions. The costumes were bright and diverse as well as the performances themselves and embraced many countries and eras: pharaons, Scotches, Spanish girls, charming princes are just a few examples. A new stage at the Bolshoi theatre was similar to an impressionist picture that evening with tender pastel tints giving place to deep fruit and wine colours. Grishko® company also offered rehearsal apparel, bags, pointe shoes and slippers to all the competitors. A stage image is only a facade seen by spectators, but is only made possible with hard long preparation.
